The following English Placement Test is a standardized test designed to assess your English language proficiency. This placement test consists of 25 multiple-choice questions, all of which focus on General English.

You will receive one point for each correct answer, and the maximum possible score is 25. Please note that you must answer all questions in order to complete the test.

By taking this completely free online placement test, you will gain an estimate of your current English proficiency level. In general (according to Cambridge University), the scores can be interpreted as follows:

• Scores 6–10: Beginner.
• Scores 11–12: May indicate either a Beginner or Intermediate level.
• Scores 13–15: Intermediate.
• Scores 16–17: May indicate either an Intermediate or Upper-Intermediate level.
• Scores 18–19: Upper-Intermediate. Individuals at this level may have the opportunity to live, work, or study in English-speaking countries.
• Scores 20–21: May indicate either an Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level.
• Score 22: May indicate either an Advanced or Proficient level.
• Scores 23–25: Proficient.
